Are there any often-derided features of cars that you seem to like? For me, it's: - Vinyl roofs. They get one hell of a share of hatred, but I love their contrasting appearance and facture. - Screens on top of the dashboard. Sure, they do often look like an afterthought, but what is a better place for them than the driver's line of sight?
I'd say some people do seem to dislike woody wagons for particular reasons, although I think otherwise. Woody wagons are great at giving the wagon a certain style to them, and also often fit with the design language of said wagons. Also, I like how most of those woody wagons actually have authethic wood, not plastic-y/fake wood.
Mostly CVT transmission. A lot of people seem to not like how they behave (i.e. they dont shift gears like a "normal" transmission) but I personally like the smoothness it adds to the car.
Yeah, that's what I meant with authenticity in my previous post. You do have a point there, which is likely why they had to switch to fake wood later on in the 20th century (and 21st century partially).
