I cleared my cache when the original posts about the floating road started being posted, due to my save of tung messing up the new version, and the glitch happened on the first time I played it. May be a problem with the map.
Did a drive around the circuit, still not perfectly designed, but fun to drive and I found a little glitch, jump to 1:55 to see it
I have a problem. Above the racetrack, trees are floating in the shape of hirochi raceway. Please help.
@xaxaxm28 I became much smarter with how maps works it seems. The Decalroad looked invisible because of the same road decal below it. As far as I know, you can't just place two decals ontop of eachother, one mesh and one decalroad without them being off. This is what it looks like removing the meshroad entirely, but it's a good idea having that banking for the last corner. Also, for the floating forest, I extracted the .zip, put only "Urban" into Documents\BeamNG.drive\levels and removed "hirochi_raceway.forest.json" Which I have no idea why it's there. It just adds all the forest objects from Hirochi Raceway to this map. I played and it looks like normal. I really like this map for how simple and short it is, so I would love to see a slight bit more bumpiness and elevation changes near the middle of the track. Light but noticeable. Xaxaxm28, I can send you my folder if you want to update this or something.
I know it's been 2 years, so sorry for bothering you, but now that you know the problem, is there any chance you could please try and remove the "hirochi_raceway.forest.json" file? It's making my surface pro pretty laggy, and I feel that removing the forest would greatly increase my fps. I would appreciate it, thank you!
