Is the world editor messed up for anyone else? The decal roads do not update any more when I change the terrain. I have to reload the map from the start menu.
Neither have I had any issues... Except for that one time where my eSBR would give me an error, but I fixed that by removing a mod and performing a clean reinstall... I just meant that comment as in general... Like, everyone having issues everywhere, and having something to report here...
I see. Yeah it seems that there has been issues, but that’s a good thing imo, cause it means tthey can be fixed. I really like this update. The physics has way less lag, UI is much faster, sounds are amazing, new scraping and brush sounds are awesome, new parts for the hopper and semi are awesome, and the new split exhaust/intake sounds are super cool, makes things feel a lot more realistic.
I did test vanilla 1.8 and could not see wobbling, but not sure if I knew what to look for. I did test steady speeds and full acceleration, but nothing did jump out to be out of normal. Can you post a video?
This is confirmed, we need to have a look at this. Possible our static optimization made them too.. static :v PS. Simply moving a node in the decalroad should force it to update again.
whoever talked about not having collisions at 100 times slomo ive had it too, for me in the kashira powerglow i went to hit a fence prop and then a concrete wall prop in a line and it phased through both of them at 100x slowmo, so far it's only happened with this car and conditions but i can try and experiment with it further, either way im able to reproduce it every time like that
With FPS limiter set to 30 this started to show up, with solid 60fps issue did not show up. Have you tested in safe mode and temporarily moving everything outside of game from documents/beamng.drive/vehicles ? I could not replicate that behavior, so could be some mod or other possibility that comes to mind is that if fps/cpu load could affect that somehow.

The first thing you should do is try it in safe mode. Before reporting it as a bug. It’s most likely a mod causing the cvt to freak out.
Even if it is more realistic, the sunburst is far too exaggerated. I think the squared off styling added to its “butch city car” look. I do like the widebody for AWD though. I wish we could have the old body shape with the new quarter panels.
for the sunburst CVT, try running your game at 60fps.. if you have framelocked it to 30 then it might cause issues.. also check if your cpu is maxed out..
The 5th wheel system is designed with inter vehicle collision in mind, which you've disabled. More specifically, you enabled "Simplified collision physics" in options/gameplay.

Honestly, I'm the exact opposite. The new body shape is admittedly an impovement, but the old quarter panel style was miles better.
Likely not specific to 0.16, but the Burnside experiences some funky lighting issues at night. It isn't visible during the day, but at night with the headlights and brakelights/turn signal on at the same time, you get this weird ghosty gray color. Headlights only: Headlights w/ brakelights
I’m getting the dreaded “no texture” orange all over the dock surface on Italy. Previously I had to delete the Italy folder from the levels folder to get new town, hospital, and gas stations to work. Now they are working, but the dock area has many areas without texture. This happens running in safe mode as well, after clearing cache.
