SO excited for the gen-2 Kashira! The old Kashira was kinda bland and probs needed a small update but this is absolutely awseome! Might I also suggest a Rock Crawler?
Unless I'm remembering this totally wrong, that indicator is based on value that has range of 0-1, then you write something like 0.3 being gear 2 for example and 0.5 being D. It can be that I'm remembering how Sunburst gear display did work though, but maybe it is same. Anyway, if there is more or less modes, display will be off, I don't think that number of gears affected that, but number of modes, like if you have S mode in addition to PRND21 (0.5 is between D and N) it can be off as it would be PRNDS21 (0.5 is D) P. I'm not sure if it was like 0 being 1 and P being 1 or other way around. Anyway, maybe useful for someone.
It's even more like that 00s style. Not so futuristic, but remains stylish to this day. I totally agree with you about that. Besides, he won't be so bossy in the eye.
That should be feasible. I'll take a look at the Covet's code to see how it works on that, and then try to recreate it. Not quite finished, but... Hm, I'll look into that for the hotfix. No guarantees, but I'll see what can be done! (^^) I'm not sure how effective as a rock crawler it would be, but there is an offroad version with 4WD and some offraod-y parts.
Did you check to make sure that they all said "100% free"? Some of them are labelled as "free for personal use," and when looking for fonts, I make sure to avoid those.
Are they going to chase you for it though? No, they won't Then again, it is just font suggestions anyways.
When we want release mod on repo we have to make everything legally. I have good sources for legal fonts. Don't worry about that. These fonts are good for advert thingos (I using sf alien encounters). In our opinion your suggestions are too fancy for rear lettering. I think I will make some research for better font of rear lettering. I agree with that current font is not the best.
I don't know, people has gone to court/jail/prison for the stupidest of reasons. Now I'd like to add on some font suggestions as well. Here are three more fonts from DaFont that I can confirm are 100% free.
I actually quite like the top two. I like the design of the second one more, but I think the top one would fit the car a bit better. We can definitely see about changing the font to something like that (if not that exact font).
I dont check this :/ but if it's for a free sharing, I don't think that matters (probably ^^). Anyways, your "xolonium" font is very beautiful! and, the second one is well too.
Japanese cars in the 90s usually used simplistic block lettering or occasionally cursive. The top one looks pretty good, and is pretty close to Toyota fonts from the era and the Ibishu fonts. You could go for a slightly curvier for a Honda style.
