Simulation is pretty good, I tried testing it by spawning 2 dummies and then going sideways into them with a Covet. --- Post updated --- For most absorbing experience, try it in slow motion!
Ok, so go into your downloads folder, then once you're in there look for a folder entitled BeamNG.drive. (This might also be in your documents too so search for it there.) Then once you have found the folder click on it. If you haven't deleted your mods folder it's still there, if you have: Make a new one, entitle it: "Mods, don't delete Mom." Then slip the db.json file in so it's recognized as a mod folder. (db.json can be found on the support page or here...)
The dummy can't be put in an car. It's not meant for that really. I guess that you can manage to get it in an convertible by lifting it but it just wouldn't sit down or cooperate at all so there's no point. Bump is an forum term used when an user replies to an thread that hasn't been posted on for an long time. This will bump the thread up to the top and is sometimes annoying but it is fine if the post is constructive and contributing to the thread.
It is possible, the Codename: olds fulsize has a dummy in the carhttps://www.beamng.com/resources/codename-oldsfullsize.1417/
Hey All - With regards to the "floating head" issue (see attached), it just started happening to me for the first time as well. I thought it was the 0.11 update because I had just used the dummy without issue right before the update and tried using it for the first time since the update now and had that issue. However, I disabled all mods (except the dummy) and it works fine so it's not the game update. I also tried clearing my cache as well but no luck either It seems that it's another mod causing this and my suspicion is it might be one of the mods that allow you to place the dummy in the car (i.e. the oldsfullsize which was recently updated). I don't have time right now to go through and activate/deactivate mods to try and narrow it down but I will do so later today and post my findings
Ok, so to follow-up, it seems to be an issue with the recently updated "oldsfullsize" mod so I will report the issue over in that mod's thread (https://www.beamng.com/threads/american-80s-fullsize-series.44514/page-28). Anyone having this issue with the "headless" dummy should disable the "oldsfullsize" mod AND the oldsfullsize add-on (search codename_american_fullsize_series) to resolve.
Small problem, when I hit it with my car (going forward) it gets stuck inside the cars parts instead of getting thrown over the top.
