Hi, I am making a bolide cabrio and i have a problem: I made the mesh, and at first the material wasn't added: after I added the super material in blender, it looked like this: as you can see (zoom in) the texture on the ex pillar part is black-grey on some spots. When I tried to change that in blender by trial and error(tried some uv mapping but im a noob so i failed) this was the result the body textures are messed up while the tailcone, doors and engine cover are okay How do i fix this? files are below:
Your UV-Maps are completely messed up. There isn't much that can be done to restore them. Did you remapped the whole thing randomly?
I guess How can I solve this? new UV mapping, make new textures or delete everything and start again?
okay, and how can I make it in such a way that the UV-maps will not be messed up and I dont have the issue on the second pic?
Well, you do not have to touch anything regarding the UVMaps. Your model has completely different UVMap (the kind that gets generated when you press U > SmartUV). Just don't do that and it should be fine.
okay thanks! I will set it to solved when it is done --- Post updated --- So, I modelled it again without doing anything at all with the UV's, and as expected, this was the result: how do I make the bodypart, so not the tailgate, red again? I guess that the UV's are messed up automaticly by blender here. How do I fix this? I want it to look good before the jbeam work starts.
