Hello everyone, When i look in this forum section, you see that a considerable amount of posts are about the queston of if their pc will run BeamNG. So why can't we have just 1 central thread for that where people can ask that question to other people that have some experience with it. Just with a little simple template like this: CPU: (cpu brand, type, possible overclock) RAM: (only the amount is enough) GPU: (brand, type, amount of vram) Desired Resolution: (like 1366x768 or 1920x1080) So just a simple example: CPU: Intel Xeon X5670 @ 4.8Ghz RAM: 18GB GPU: AMD R9 390 8GB Desired resolution: 1366x768
And people can throw some tests in, like asking the computer they have to see the correctness of everyone's answers. Would this run I3-6100 no hyperthreading 8gb ddr4 Intel HD 530 1360x768 (future upgrade to 1920x1080)
The CPU is ok, but don't expect it to do well when you are using more than 2 cars. Ram is also fine, only your graphics card is sh*t. Maybe it will run on low graphics, but you really need to put in a graphics card like the RX460. Even those "budget" cards will offer you so much more performance. And with that card you should be able to play on something like medium graphics.
It runs 2 cars @60 FPS, lowest settings. I plan on getting a GTX 1050 Ti in the future OT- Until more people come, I'm gonna keep this thread alive. ROT (Really On Topic)- CPU: Pentium III RAM: 2gb DDR2 GPU: Integrated Resolution: 1600/900
Which motherboard are you using to get a Pentium II running with DDR2 memory? If you really mean a Pentium III, you won't be able to run the game unfortunately. That's a pretty nice budget build. The CPU will be fine, and as BeamNG uses for every extra car one extra core, it should scale pretty well if you use more than one car. The memory is a tad on the low side, you really want 8GB nowadays, especially with big maps. The GPU will run fine with medium settings, and the resolution is also the sweetspot for the GPU in my opinion.
Physics-wise, the setup will hold up well. The CPU has got enough power and you got lot's of ram. But the GPU.... Maybe on low graphics. No
wow now this thread is turning completely useless. guys - the idea is that people who wonder if their pc runs the game can ask here and get answers - not to post ridiculus pc setups you pulled out of your arse and trying to guess if it could work! i dont think this is supposed to be a "answer the last question, think of a new one" thread.
Runs solid with normal settings @60 FPS up to 2 cars on most maps (40-55 FPS on demanding maps or with 4 cars) CPU: Intel Core i7-6700HQ @ 2.60GHz RAM: 8GB GPU: Nvidia GTX 980m w/ 4GB of VRAM (+100MHz overclock on GPU and +200MHz on VRAM. Stable) Desired resolution: 1920x1080 Note: I do suffer from power throttling since my PSU is only 280W
I disabled it because I don't need 2 extra threads, especially for normal gaming. It doubled the cache for each logical core, almost doubling the performance. Before, I was getting about 35FPS stock truck, gridmap. Now, I get about 60. It's actually a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
