If you have the money by all means. I've driven a few including an interesting slant nose clone and they are very quirky. The 4 speed isn't great and don't plan on making anything resembling boost until 4k rpm, but the feeling you get when it hits is unique to an old 911 turbo for sure. They squat down nicely so they are only really dangerous when you let that boost sneak up on you in the middle of a turn. They look fantastic. Edit: speaking of porsches, check out the 924s. My personal favorite car maybe.
Exploders are cool? Ok, there is one "slighlty" neat Explorer, and that would be the 302 ones, but they still messed it up by giving it full time 4wd, and ruining the mileage.
Nearly every amercian suv truck or muscle car is cool at least in my opinion wspaciqlly here in europe where you annoy greenpeace and so with them
