Burnside based racecar

I just got the game I am liking it, I have some experience making 3d models and I decided what a good addon would be a vintage race car, but given that there's only one 50s car as donor I will be using the burnside.

the plan is to rebody the car, and also push the engine and drivers seat 0.6 meters towards the back for better balance

That's the plan, and also a hopped up version of the standard V8 with 250 Hp

 

Looks sorta like a Cobra. I'm keeping an eye on this one!

i tried runnning the burnside with no bodywork, just a frame, and is very very flimsy so some stiffening is Due like adding more tubes and make a basically flat frame, 3d

Another thing, this post got more attention than I ever expected, I will try to take the project to completion

 

Here in Brazil we build Shelby Cobra replicas over Ford Galaxie / Landau chassis. Maybe a font of inspiration.

Suggestion: try making the front a bit more different. it looks way to similar to the Shelby Cobra.

Maybe doing the side bars like on a lotus seven will make it stiffer. Great work. A removable X bar tying the engine bay can be a good idea too, specially for stiffen the front suspension mounts.
