It's FWD. The only way to make a conventional dragster is to take the body shell and put it on a RWD chassis. You could just put drag tires on the front though.

The Chevy Lumina is FWD. The NASCAR version is RWD.

True, but NASCAR cars aren't actually road cars, they're just shells slapped onto a tube chassis.

Is it just me or does the displacement of every single engine match a GM engine that would have been available in similar types of car around or after this time period?

That's because it seems to be mostly based on the GM A-body (82-86) (Buick Century, Olds Cutlass Ciera, Pontiac 6000, Chevrolet Celebrity) but mainly the Cutlass Ciera.

I don't know where anyone is getting K car out of this. The roof and windows are straight A-Platform. Even the wheels match the GMs of the time.
Even the Bruckell symbol looks like the Oldsmobile symbol.

The A-Body was based off of the K-Car, just slightly modified for the car it was used on. Also, look at the mid-section of the Spirit and the LeGran.

Stop, the Bruckell LeGran is clearly based off of the Bruckell LeGran.

    Look at the resemblance.

Nope, every 80's FWD American compacts like the LeGran are pretty similiar to other designs, mostly the LeGran is based on the late 80's Buick's and other GM bodies.

Well yes, but the LeGran also resembles a K-Car. It is mixed, I know. It's not just GM.

Why does this give me vibes of a 1980s Quattroporte?

You know what, you're right. We have the Piazza based LeGran. Let's just be happy crushing it.

Just a report, way too fast for its power output.
    for reference:
    http://www.automobile-catalog.com/
Also the app showing its airspeed seems to be broken, not showing gears with automatic transmissions.

Here is our small overlap crash test result from the LeGran.

    Cheers

Quote from the results in the video above as follows below

    "Overall Evaluation: Poor

The Bruckell LeGran is a mid size sedan manufactured from 1984 to 1988. The LeGran received a poor rating in our small overlap test due to a lack of crumple zones and a lack of structural reinforcement in the firewall and frame.

The combination of these two situations led to the vehicles frame twisting and bending to an extreme angle. This resulted in the firewall taking the brunt of the impact which pushed it so far back that it buckled the roof and resulted in major steering wheel, foot pedal, dash, and instrument intrusion over a foot and a half into the driver.

The late 1950's were the first years manufacturers started developing crumple zones and they were not perfected to nearly to the degree by the 1980's as they are today and as a result many cars from this era receive poor ratings in modern safety tests as safety technology was still in it's infancy."

Chrysler did have engines of those displacements as well. But they are newer than the Legran.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_3.3_&_3.8_engine#3.8

It would be cool if there was a 3.0 fuel injected Japanese sourced V6 for this thing as an option.

Imagine this car being powered by a twin turbo V6.

In fact, the car this is based off, various 80's FWD big three cars, all have Japanese V6's.

You want one? Keep a lookout on the repository then, I may have you covered. BTW the EGA and EGH are some of my favorite engines, glad someone noted them :)
