    Some of your files may have got broken when the game crashed.
    Go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive and delete the 'settings' folder.

    If I put Stage 3 variable boost turbo to 200BX or Sunburst (might happen with others too), then set wastegate start to minimum and wastegate max to maximum, I will get clutch slippage, a lots of, in Sunburst clutch will handle only around 390Nm of torque with race transmission and race awd transfer case.

    If I set wastegate start to higher value, clutch will not slip so much, clutch torque seems to be tied to wastegate start somehow, so I guess that is a bug has others experienced such?

    Sorry if this was mentioned already, there are so many pages so I did cheat and did not read them all, search returns 0 results as always when I search something.

    The Burnside radiator isn't correctly unwrapped i think.
    The model is out of the original beamng content.

    The game gets an fatal vehicle exception when you choose the rear skidplates as wheels.
    Tested after I had removed all of my mods.

    That's always been a problem. Just make/save the config you made, open the config in a text editor and remove the rear wheel hubs. Seems to fix it for me.

    the group 4 bolide has a rear number plate for some reason.
    also, the lead sled burnside says it is automatic on the preview pic (A), and yet has a 4 speed manual.

    I have a sunburst with a setup seen in an image. sunburst_setup.png

    If I switch to drive, accelerate to 3-4000rpm, keep throttle floored while shift to N and then to R, car accelerates forward first and only after accelerating forwards while in Reverse gear, then some 0.5 to 1 seconds later starts reversing. It is very well visible if you have soft stock suspension in car.

    It does happen with Barstow that has automatic gearbox too, but I think time is a lot shorter and it is less noticeable.

    It is wonderfully amusing, but I'm not sure it is intended to work that way?

    It is intended to work that way. Actually happens on some real cars too. ;) (Not that you would notice due to real car limitations when moving the gear selector, but...)

    I was driving the CVT Sunburst, and I realised that the RPM's jump between different RPM's when I am driving. Should I try safe mode, I wouldn't think that it was a mod as all my mods are up to date mods. (I don't know how CVT's actually work)

    I think you must to delet all your mod / clear cache and try again.
    the CVT cant jump between different RPM if work properly.

    The ring menu thing that's supposed to come up when you open the menu bar doesn't appear in my game. Cleared the cache a dozen times and even opening the game in save mode does nothing to solve the problem.

    It just disappeared one day.....

    Said menu is an app. Maybe you disabled it?

    It appears to go between 3000-4000 RPM's when driving

    Do you use arcade mode or realistic mode?

    If you use realistic mode then do you have clutch assist enabled.

    Clutch Assist is on, it does it in both Arcade and Realistic. It does it more at higher speeds. (About 80 mph, 35 m/s or 128 kmh)

    I think that when I use CVT I disable clutch help, there was some effect to how CVT did function in some situation I think, but not sure as it was yesterday I played with CVT and today is new day, my head is clear from memory traces again.

    There are setting for CVT and playing with those can cause rpm jumping too, if there is a mod that changes those or if original files has been changed, it might be one possibility too.

    I'm using old Logitech game pad as my fancy Logitech wheel let smoke out when attempting to use after longer brake, I find it quite hard to keep steady throttle especially when steering so sometimes there are changes in rpm even when I think I keep steady throttle, input axis app might help to find out if throttle pedal/device is acting up in such case.

    Also if you have Stage 3 turbo and set wastegate start to quite low value while wastegate max is set to maximum, CVT starts slipping, clutch starts slipping etc. there is some bug in how lower wastegate limit affects about clutch torque or something along those lines.

    None of the scenarios use night time by default so I didn't notice much until now, but the checkpoints aren't transparent early enough for night time driving at high speeds. They impair your ability to see ahead to the end of your high beams in clear night conditions, as if driving toward a very isolated cloud of thick fog. I made some images to better showcase the issue.
